valley end has residual spring and few yellow birds,
magnolia flowers gone and apricot flowers fly.
sympathize with secluded bamboos under the hill window,
shady and cool they wait me return.

谷口春殘黃鳥稀，辛夷花盡杏花飛。
始憐幽竹山窗下，不改清陰待我歸。
