mountain sunshine suddenly falls down at the west

pool moon goes up gradually at the east

hair off and enjoy the cool at the evening

open the house and lie with leisure

wind from lotus flowers brings the wonderful scent

bamboo dew drops make some noise

willing to play the zither

hope there is a man who knows the music

because of this I miss my old friend

at the mid-night and into my dream

山光忽西落，池月漸東上。

散發乘夕涼，開軒卧閒敞。

荷風送香氣，竹露滴清響。

欲取鳴琴彈，恨無知音賞。

感此懷故人，中宵勞夢想。
