long songs and short songs, Li he 長歌續短歌 李賀

long songs the cloth broken,
short songs white hair breaks.
the emperor from Qin Dynasty is not visible,
sunrise and sunset turn to heat inside.
thirsty then drink the wine in the bottle,
hungry then take the corn at the field.
cool April is prosperous,
everywhere turns green at a time.
peaks in the night are flourishing,
the moon falls down the rock bottom.
wander and seek it along the rock,
the moon goes outside the high peaks.
fail to travel together with it,
accomplish the song and the hair firstly changed.

長歌破衣襟,短歌斷白髮。
秦王不可見,旦夕成內熱。
渴飲壺中酒,飢拔隴頭粟。
淒涼四月闌,千里一時綠。
夜峰何離離,明月落石底。
徘徊沿石尋,照出高峰外。
不得與之遊,歌成鬢先改。

This poem brings him the question on why we are human being, since he observed that both the rich and the people in poverty more or less have thought about  what to live for?  He said the Buddhism persuades people not to pursue too much of the wealth and the fame, but be happy by giving up the pursing. To live in the world, it is difficult to control the desire and anger, normal people consider whether they are higher than others, and those who feels much higher than the others are having wrong thoughts.  The capabilities are being considered to be the way to get better life.  It is not very important if you miss the opportunity to meet The emperor of Qin,  and drinking wine or eating corn are something popular, and maybe you know a lot. It does not matter too much if you couldn't fall asleep. Being old is have been old, and there are somebody that haven't been old but passed away. You feel more fortunate than somebody else, and there are somebody not feeling as good as you.

     The poetry expresses the emotion, it appears also quite technical in current society, like the popular music, also like "xiang sheng" which is a traditional Chinese comedy with two people standing together and talking about interesting stories. But to pursue the extreme feeling, especially in modern society, people even try the drugs with the excuse to get new ideas.

     the author of the poem 'li he' is not calm of his status of life in this poem. He seems to have a strong aim to become good in his life. Maybe his life is arranged well already, but his pursing brings him some sadness.
   
  (Confucius said:  It is wisdom to know how your life is arranged by the sky(天) so you would be happy after knowing it)



附好友个人感悟:

其实多年好友推荐这首诗给我的时候,我第一个想到的是以前台湾大众银行很感人的一个广告《梦骑士》。“人为什么活着”。这个终极哲学问题一直在每个人耳边。其实不管是国家元首或是超级富豪,又或者环卫工人煎饼摊主,谁不在或多或少探索着这一生的意义呢。

佛家说,人不能有太强的执念。要知足常乐。人活在世界上,很难一直压住内心的欲望和愤恨。高看自己一等的是一般人,高看自己三等的是妄人。人总觉得自己的能力应该获得更好的地位或者待遇。秦王见不着就不见了,喝酒吃粟也就时髦的说法,装个213。夜晚睡不着,那是失眠。老了就老了就是了,很多人还没在烦恼中老去就没了。总有人活得比你好,总有人活的比你差。

诗词是情绪的表达。就跟现在流行歌曲一般。喜怒哀乐,犹如相声说学逗唱。都是行内的技巧。诗人是个高危职业,总是要求自己的情绪要比一般人要细腻,这要是在现代,肯定要吸个毒,找个灵感。

人追求更奇幻的精神世界,人追求更平实的心境。追求什么都是一种活法。可能痛苦,烦恼才能证明自己还活着。也有可能宁静止水更让人踏实。

李贺同志估计这会相当郁闷,而且处于难以找到根本解决办法的境地。这在心理学上并不是好兆头,如果最后两句表示要老骥伏枥,再来一把,证明他已经克服了心理的坎。对自己的要求也许太高了,又或是没别的事好烦恼,只觉得这一生必须出人头地。

人的一生估计都是可预测的,因为具体的处境,能力,基本都是无大偏差。高度和低度都是可预测的阈值内。但是也不乏个例。小概率事件。所以,人生是自己的,想作,想赌,想修行都是自己的。没人知道去世后有没有评分机制,就算有,也不知道标准。所以,用自己的良知来判断自己的行为,用自己的心感受世界,用自己的修行来压住自己的妄念。不说更高境界,只让自己过得更自在些吧。
