'lao lao' pavillion, Li bai 勞勞亭 李白
a place of sadness under the sky,
the 'lao lao' pavilion to say farewell.
vernal breeze being aware of part bitterness,
does not send the willow branches green.
(The ancient Chinese often send a willow branch at the moment of farewell)
天下傷心處,勞勞送客亭。
春風知別苦,不遣柳條青。
